The National Forest

The National Forest is a forest in the making, transforming 200 square miles of central England. It is a bold project, blending new and maturing woodland within a wide variety of landscapes, presenting opportunities for many to take part in its development.

Staunton Harold is proud to be a designated gateway of the National Forest. During your visit to our conference centre at Lion Court, you may notice a great many young trees. These have been planted to promote woodland in the area.

There are hundreds of activities to do within the National Forest - be it walking through natural woodland or spotting the abundant wildlife.
