If you are looking for a conference venue that is a cut above the rest, you have come to the right place. If you are tired of sterile hotels or crowded conference centres, you will find Lion Court a very welcome break.

Lion Court Conference Facilities is nestled in beautiful countryside straddling the border of Leicestershire and Derbyshire. Surrounded by tranquil woods and parkland, it adjoins one of the best known country houses in the UK – Staunton Harold Hall.

Do not let the apparent isolation fool you, however. Lion Court Conference Facilities is minutes from the M1, M42 and A50 as well as being near three major airports (East Midlands, Coventry and Birmingham). It is quick to get to, but once you are there, you are in a different world.

We have looked at what people want from a conference centre – and importantly at what people are fed up with. We have come up with the ideal solution for anyone who wants to host a meeting or just hire an office:

• We only book one large conference in at a time, so that the centre is always peaceful and relaxing.

• We offer free wireless internet access, without the need to register.

• We offer a totally flexible approach and strive to meet organisers’ needs. Just contact us and tell us your requirements – we will come up with a solution to meet your needs.

We can cater for parties from 1 to 100 in our range of conference rooms, seminar rooms and offices. These can be hired for any timescale from an hour to a month and provided with the equipment of your choice.

All events can also use our business support facilities such as telephone answering, document printing and photocopying.

Food & Drink

We can either provide buffet catering within Lion Court (served within your room or in a break-out room) or you can eat at the Ferrers Centre. Situated just 100 yards away, the Ferrers Centre offers an award-winning traditional tea rooms where you can escape from the work for half an hour.

Our buffet meals can be tailored to your wishes, and we can provide extra catering such as welcome pastries or bacon sandwiches in the morning.

Tea and coffee is, naturally, available all day in our Breakfast Room .

Accommodation

Lion Court is a dedicated conference venue, not a hotel. That is something that we are proud of. Our guests are free to stay at one of the many neighbouring pubs or hotels, but we are delighted to recommend the following:
